03

Quotations & Pricing

All project quotations issued by PSD Energy & Water Pure System are valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated in writing. After this period, pricing may be subject to revision due to component cost fluctuations or changes in site conditions.

  • All quotations are fully itemised, covering the cost of materials, labour, transportation, and any applicable government levies or taxes.
  • GST is charged in accordance with applicable rates and is clearly shown as a separate line item in every quotation.
  • No charge is levied for the initial site assessment or the preparation and delivery of a quotation.
  • Quotations are prepared on the basis of information gathered during the site assessment. If site conditions differ materially from those observed, a revised quotation may be issued.
  • Any variations to the agreed scope of work - including additions, deletions, or changes requested by the Client after acceptance - will be subject to a formal variation order and additional pricing where applicable.
  • Prices listed in a quotation are firm and will not be increased once a quotation has been accepted by the Client, unless a variation order has been agreed in writing.

No hidden charges are introduced at any stage of the project. The amount quoted is the amount billed - subject only to formal, mutually agreed variations in project scope.

04

Payment Terms

Payment terms are agreed upon and confirmed in the project quotation prior to the commencement of any installation work. The following general payment structure is applied, unless alternative terms are specified in writing:

  • An advance payment (deposit) is required prior to the ordering of materials and the scheduling of the installation team. The specific deposit amount is stated in the project quotation.
  • A progress payment may be required at defined milestones for larger or multi-phase projects, as specified in the quotation.
  • The final balance is due upon successful commissioning and client sign-off at project handover.
  • Payment may be made by bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/UPI), cash, or any other method agreed upon in advance.
  • GST invoices are issued for all payments received, in compliance with applicable Indian tax regulations.
  • Where government subsidies are applicable - such as PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana - the subsidy amount is deducted from the client's total liability once disbursed, and payment schedules may be adjusted accordingly.

Delay in payment beyond the agreed due date may result in a pause in installation work until the outstanding balance is received. Interest on overdue amounts may be charged at a rate of 18% per annum, compounded monthly, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

Project Delivery & Installation

Installation timelines are confirmed at the time of quotation acceptance, subject to material availability and site readiness. PSD Energy & Water Pure System endeavours to meet all committed timelines and will communicate proactively if any delay is anticipated.

  • All installation work is carried out by the in-house technical team of PSD Energy & Water Pure System. No work is subcontracted without the prior knowledge and consent of the Client.
  • The installation is conducted in accordance with relevant Indian Standards and best practices for solar energy and water treatment system installation.
  • The Company reserves the right to reschedule installation dates in the event of adverse weather conditions, supply chain delays, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  • Upon completion of installation, a commissioning test is carried out to verify system performance. The Client will be walked through the operation of the installed system.
  • A formal handover document - including warranty certificate, operation manual, and maintenance schedule - is provided to the Client at commissioning.
  • The Company is not responsible for delays caused by the Client's failure to provide site access, necessary permissions, or required preparatory work (such as civil works or electrical infrastructure).
06

Warranties & Guarantees

Warranty coverage is provided on all installed systems, the terms of which are set out in the project quotation and handover documentation. General warranty provisions are as follows:

  • Solar panels are covered by the manufacturer's performance warranty - typically 25 years - and a product warranty for workmanship defects as specified by the manufacturer.
  • Solar inverters, charge controllers, mounting structures, and ancillary electrical components carry the respective manufacturer's warranties, which are passed through to the Client.
  • RO membranes and water treatment components carry the manufacturer's warranty, with specific warranty periods detailed in the project quotation.
  • Installation workmanship - including wiring, plumbing connections, mounting, and commissioning - is guaranteed by PSD Energy & Water Pure System for a period of one year from the date of handover.
  • Warranty claims are subject to the component or system having been used in accordance with the operation instructions provided at handover.

Warranty coverage is voided by: unauthorised modifications to the installed system; damage caused by misuse, neglect, or physical impact; and by the use of non-approved replacement components outside of the AMC framework.

07

Client Responsibilities

The successful delivery of every project depends on both parties fulfilling their respective responsibilities. The Client is expected to:

  • Provide accurate information about the site, existing infrastructure, and project requirements at the time of the site assessment and quotation stage.
  • Ensure that the installation site is accessible to the installation team on the agreed installation date, and that any necessary preparatory work - such as civil works, roof repairs, or electrical panel upgrades - has been completed in advance.
  • Obtain any required building permissions, HOA approvals, or government consents that may be necessary for the installation at the Client's property.
  • Ensure that a responsible adult is present at the installation site during the installation and commissioning process.
  • Operate the installed system in accordance with the operation and maintenance guidelines provided at handover.
  • Not modify, alter, or attempt to repair the installed system without first consulting with PSD Energy & Water Pure System, as unauthorised modifications may void the warranty.
  • Report any system performance issues or faults to PSD Energy & Water Pure System promptly, using the contact details provided in the handover documentation.
08

Limitation of Liability & Governing Law

PSD Energy & Water Pure System takes every reasonable precaution to ensure that all installed systems perform as expected and that all work is carried out to the highest professional standards. However, the following limitations of liability apply:

  • The Company's liability to the Client in respect of any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that specific project.
  • The Company is not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic losses - including loss of revenue, savings, or productivity - arising from system downtime or underperformance.
  • The Company is not liable for damage to property or systems caused by factors outside its control - including but not limited to lightning strikes, flooding, acts of vandalism, or electrical surges from the grid.
  • Energy generation estimates provided in project proposals are indicative only and are based on standard irradiance data for the region. Actual generation may vary based on local weather patterns, shading, and system orientation.
  • The Company is not liable for failure to deliver services where such failure results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or supply chain disruptions.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karur, Tamil Nadu. The parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes amicably before initiating formal legal proceedings.

Our Commitments

What These Terms Guarantee You

Beyond the legal obligations, these terms reflect a set of practical commitments that every client of PSD Energy & Water Pure System can rely upon.

Transparent Engagement

Every project begins with a free site assessment and a fully itemised quotation. No work starts without a clear agreement between both parties.

Fixed, Honest Pricing

Once a quotation is accepted, the price is fixed. No additional charges are introduced without a formal, mutually agreed variation order.

Warranty on All Work

Installation workmanship is guaranteed for one year from handover. Manufacturer warranties on panels, membranes, and components are passed directly to the client.

In-House Delivery Only

All installation work is performed by the company's own technical team. No subcontracting is used, ensuring consistent quality on every project.

Fair Dispute Resolution

In the unlikely event of a dispute, resolution is first attempted through direct discussion. Legal proceedings are a last resort, not a first response.

Terms Reviewed Annually

These terms are reviewed and updated annually to reflect changes in law, business practice, or the services offered. Clients are notified of material changes.

AMC Services

Annual Maintenance Contract Terms

Annual Maintenance Contracts are offered for all installed systems following the expiry of the initial installation warranty period. AMC terms are governed by a separate service agreement, the key provisions of which are:

  • AMC services include scheduled preventive maintenance visits, performance checks, filter replacements (for RO systems), and priority response to fault calls.
  • AMC pricing is fixed for the duration of the contract period, which is typically one year.
  • AMC contracts are renewed annually and may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice before the renewal date.
  • Repairs arising from accidental damage, misuse, or unauthorised modifications are not covered under AMC and will be quoted separately.

Clients with active AMC contracts receive priority scheduling for all maintenance visits and fault responses - typically within 48 hours of a call being logged.

Cancellations & Refunds

Project Cancellation Policy

Once a quotation has been accepted and a deposit paid, materials may have been ordered and installation scheduling commenced. The following cancellation provisions apply:

  • Cancellation before material ordering: The full deposit is refundable, less an administrative fee of ₹500 to cover site assessment and quotation costs.
  • Cancellation after material ordering but before installation: The deposit is refundable less the cost of materials already ordered on behalf of the Client, which cannot be returned to suppliers.
  • Cancellation after installation has commenced: No refund of the deposit is available. The Client is liable for the cost of work completed to the date of cancellation.
  • Cancellation by the Company: If the Company is unable to fulfil an accepted project for reasons within its control, the full deposit is returned to the Client within 7 business days.
